The responsibility of the E-Commerce account manager is to consistently generate profitability sales. You will accomplish this by analyzing your market offerings and by developing and executing on sales and product category plans to maximize opportunities. You will also coordinate with different teams and initiatives to drive and grow the business. The key to sustaining sales growth will be in your ability to plan and execute promotions on different marketplaces including brick and mortar wholesale.
Analyze your market by developing, analyzing and executing on sales and product category plans to maximize opportunities
Work with buyers and other merchandisers to plan sales
Maintaining and growing existing accounts
Build relationships with marketplaces to grow business. (Amazon, Walmart, eBay etc)
Assist Sr. Business Development mgr. with NuOrder line sheets, order entry via SAP, customer service
Experience managing multiple projects - prioritizing, planning and organizational and time management skills
Sales forecasting and ability to analyze sales figures
Manage plans for inventory levels and identify changes in demand and logistics
Develop a keen understanding of the product market.
Monitor sales reports daily for success and identify gaps to take correction action on both a promotion and longer-term bases.
Head up key initiatives designated by the company to drive long-term sustainable growth
Basic Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or University
1-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous account management, product management, project management, and a working knowledge of ecommerce
The ideal candidate will be collaborative, action and results oriented, self-starting, have analytical skills, and be comfortable with computer databases and web-based tools.
Proven track record in relationship account management, driving results and implementing ideas in a fast-paced environment.
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
Knowledge of channel advisor, SAP and NuOrder, Photoshop is a plus but not required
Regular reliable attendance and punctuality required.
Ability to think both strategically and tactically with excellent attention to detail.
Must be assertive while respectful and be able to consistently “self-motivate to reach sales and business goals.
Demonstrated problem solving skills, and exceptional communication skills
Ability to make important decisions, cope with the pressure of meeting demanding targets and working within tight deadlines
Proven ability to exercise sound judgment in decision making
