This Pillar of Business provides both freedom and creativity to our team. From the early days of Air Wave sto our current operations, the business has maintained an entrepreneurial mindset and relies on the strengths of our team to understand the business and react as necessary.
Creating your own destiny means a number of things here at Air Waves. For individuals, this means your role in the company can be anything. Whether it is your first day on our job, or you’ve been with our team for decades, there are ever-changing opportunities within the business for you to pursue and obtain. For the business, this means we can always evolve and improve. This could be into a new market, new technology, improved operations, etc.

3 Ways Air Waves Practiced Creating Our Own Destiny in the Past Year:
- Air Waves OnDemand App in Shopify was launched as a new way to interact with business partners.
- Our internal barcodes were hard to scan due to the placement, a simple redesign of the location resolved this.
- We always look to hire strong talent. One example was an individual we hired into Customer Service. They served in 3 roles in their first year as they found new opportunities within different departments.

Setting Us Apart from the Competition
We feel that this pillar truly encourages and embodies constant change. We want our team to feel motivated and the liberty to invoke change and take control of their destiny.
Because of this, individuals are always welcome to present ideas. Leadership allows for ideas to be emailed or suggested to the team at any time. We have an open door policy, but more importantly we instill a strong sense of ownership that allows for decisions to be made at all levels within the business.
