At Air Waves, we know that we owe our 40 years of success to our team members’ dedication, creativity, and perseverance. Please meet Production Manager, Pamela Jansen, who has been a part of our team since May 24, 1993.
AW: Would you please share what a typical day looks like for you at Air Waves?
PJ: A typical day includes leading and monitoring quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction. It is also my responsibility to maintain a safe production environment, coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders, and make sure we meet our production goals.
AW: What has your experience been with our company culture?
PJ: We have a very diverse culture here at Air Waves. I appreciate the opportunity to see a wide range of representation when I come to work.
AW: What are some things you’ve noticed about our leadership team?
PJ: The leadership team is very knowledgeable, friendly and kind.
AW: What have been your biggest accomplishments on our team?
PJ: I would say my biggest accomplishments so far would be when we started up the e-commerce side of the business and when we set up locations in the warehouse with pick bins and such. Both of these projects required thorough planning and full team involvement.
AW: What’s the most unique part about working here?
PJ: Each day you see different things come through: different processes, new products, etc. It is never a boring day here at Air Waves!
AW: What is your number one piece of advice for someone who is just starting in their career?
PJ: Practice patience. We are very much on the fly with a lot of things. When you are dealing with internet sales that’s how it is. You need to be willing to change directions and adapt quickly.
